I had a PFO repair done 9/29/09 and have not had a migraine headache since, my blood pressure is now low instead of high! I know it is only 3 weeks out of surgery but I have painful lymph nodes under my arms and in my groin-inside thigh area. Is this normal? I hate to call the surgeon and sound like a fruit-cake. I am extremely tired by evening, no energy.

First of all congratulations on having your surgery behind you now.

I think it would be wise as well as being your own best advocate in contacting your surgeon re your concerns. You will not sound like a fruit-cake. :)

I would mention your fatigue too as long as you are talking to him.

Each person's recovery time will depend on their health level prior to the surgical procedure. I think at 3 weeks out it is ok to feel wore out by evening.
