My mom is 83, and has great health all tests came back wonderful. She was feeling rather tired not like her pepie usual self. The dr. heard a heart murmur. She has all kinds of tests ran and they found a small minimal leakage in a valve causing the murmur. She was sent to a cardiologist. Her EKG's are out of wack, so he put her in the hospital and did a cath on her. No blocked arteries. She has been monitoring her bp now for two weeks. She has been actually feeling much better. Her bp mostly reads 130's/ 80...but seems like when she has a tired day it is low, 105/57 etc. For a week her bp was great and now she has had a couple of days it was actually high, 195/94 for example. She doesn't feel bad she says. Yesterday it was up there and she took an extra bp pill and it just stayed high anyway all day. Why would her bp do this? Should she call her cardiologist Monday? Her next appt. is not until the 4th of March. I appreciate any input on this situation! Thanks all and by the wAY
