I would think it depends on where in your brain the lesions are. Have you had an echocardiagram? You could have mitral valve prolapse. I was diagnosed with it when I was 8. I had chest pain, tachycardia, multiple PVC's, and palpitations. For most of my life it was just an aggrevation. Then, after I had my daughter, I started an exercise program and my heart would jump to 170 within a minute or 2 on the treadmill walking slowly. I went to the cardiologist who swore I didn't have MVP because he couldn't hear it with his stethoscope. Insisted he do an echo anyway, and it turned out that not only did I have MVP but I also had mitral regurgitation (I didn't have that as a child). Anyway, he put me on a beta blocker and I've remained on one ever since. I'm due another echo, and the last time I went to my regular doctor she said she could hear my murmor with her stethoscope! Oh, boy. Have that scheduled at the end of this month.
Now if I miss my meds by just an hour, I have left arm pain, "quivering in my chest", and "skips" that cause an involuntary cough-very weird.
If you haven't had an echo, I would suggest getting it done. My EKG's have almost always been normal. Never worn a holter monitor though.
