Resting heart rate, eating, etc...

So i was in the hospital 3 weeks ago for a week dealing and recovering from SVT's.
I am pretty anxious about my heart rate pretty much ALL THE TIME, I wont lie.

What can I do to get my resting and standing heart rate down.
Like sometimes its normal to sit on the toilet, and sometimes its 130 just sitting on the toilet and 170 to get back to my recliner where i got up.

It's odd.

any tips?
I am on TPN right now because im underweight.

a little anemic. hemoglobin 11.0
Does sodium effect Heart rate?

It's hard to get much exercise except for the fact of walking back and forth to the bathroom. Right now, I dont want to sustain a heart rate too high.

Hey there,

You said you spent a week in the hospital dealing with SVT, what else were you in the hospital for ? A week stay for SVT sounds like along time unless you had a procedure such as an cardiac ablation. Were you started on a new medication? I am just attempting to understand what you had going on?

Your young and with Crohn's Disease as well as a known heart arrhythmia I feel like the right person to ask these questions of would be your physician. You may need your lab work checked for electrolytes or something else is going on.

I understand your anxiety and wonder if you have ever been to therapy to help you learn to deal with the anxiety that often comes with a chronic dx like Crohn's Disease.

You have my support and hope you get some answers from your physician.
