Carly....I have the same thing, I just did some tests today, an echo and then a treadmill test so they could see how my heart responds to exercise. Everything looked normal, the one premature beat that the cardiologist saw she called a PAC, told me it was totally benign, especially since my echo showed my heart was the right size and no abnormalities. But still.....it is so hard to live with, you try to do something else or focus on something and then I get a flutter with a sensation that a 1/4 of my breath was just sucked out of me. Sometimes I feel like I'm getting 4 or 5 a minute. I've heard a lot of people have them but don't ever feel them, I wish I were one of those people! It is so hard to live with this when it affects you constantly. The cardiologist I saw wants me to try 25mg of atenolol once a day to see if it helps.
How often do you get them? Do you really think the magnesium pills you are taking are helping? If so, I may try that.
What I am struggling with most is the fact that two weeks ago this was not going on.....then all of a sudden I'm experiencing it and I am experiencing it quite often.....my worrying/anxiety was bad to begin with, now dealing with this is a challenge!
