questions about after heart surgery

 In March of this year, I had double bypass surgery. I am wondering how long you experience the discomfort of the sternum being so sore, and how long will it feel like liquid fire in my chest. Our area just went through a lot of muggy weather, and every day I felt like I had very little energy, trying to go for a walk made me sleep all afternoon. I know recovery is an ongoing process, but some days I feel like I haven't progressed very far. My walks are about 25 minutes long, but it is an effort some days to even get out. Ju st was wondering when my walks might feel enjoyable again.
