Enlarged heart maybe?

Hi everyone, I'm really worried about my fiance. He has been having alot of chest pains here recently. His blood pressure stays really high, and he's just a naturally stressed out person all the time. His whole family has a heart disease history. He went to the doctor maybe 10 months ago and had a EKG and chest x-ray both which came back fine they only thing they noted was that he had really large lungs. I'm worried to death that he has an enlarged heart...I've heard of sooo many people here lately who die in their sleep from an enlarged heart....I'm also pretty sure he has sleep apnea because he snores and says he wakes up in the middle of the night realizing that he's not breathing. And I heard that sleep apnea only makes this condition worse and more risky for death. Someone please help me!!!

A radiologist should be able to identify an enlarged heart from a chest xray and you have posted his chest xray was fine.

Swimmers lungs often are large so I would not panic over the results of the Xray at this point.

Perhaps sitting down and talking through your bf regarding his known medical issues would be helpful. If he has high blood pressure is he on any kind of treatment? Also if he has high anxiety perhaps seeing a therapist to help him learn how to reduce his anxiety would be wise.

He is lucky to have a caring and loving fiancée.
