Constipation after removal of Colon

6 momths after surgery and I am constipated Again! What could be wrong now?

Hi Chakra,
Welcome to Healing Well! I'm so sorry to hear that your struggling with consitipation. That's never fun. I'm not generally a poster in the Cardiovascular forum, but am just helping out her for a while. I'm sure there are others who will be by soon to provide support and information.

I haven't had that surgery, but I'm no stranger to constipation. I get it from my pain meds and also antibiotics. I've been working on taking more stool softeners and fiber plux Miralax, which seem to be helping.

Maybe the GERD people or the ostomy group would be more helpful.
