Question about cost of Open Heart Surgery

My husband was told he will need open Heart Surgery to replace his leaking aortic valve and we were curious to find out what that type of surgery has cost others....We do have insurance but want to know the total cost anyhow. Thanks

I suspect the cost of the surgery varies due to the hospital and physcian you go to as well as the length of the hospital stay.

You can call you insurance company and they should be able to give you a ball park cost.

I hope all goes well for your husband.
