hello. i am new to this site. recently went to emergency room with an episode of lightheadedness and the feeling of a curtain coming down in front of my eyes. my eyes stayed
open the whole time but it felt like i passed out. any way i went to er the next day and i had an cpk level of 6200. brain scan and eeg came back ok. they saw something on my echo and did a transesophageal echo. i have a copy of the test results and this is what it is saying. indicaction asd atrial septal defect. interpretation summary, medium to large pfo. notice atrial septal aneurysm. mild mitral valve regurgitation. trace tricuspid regurgitation is seen. mildly elevated transarotic gradients consistent with aortic sclerosis. no evidence thrombosis in la or laa. no evidence of valve vegetation. just wondering if anyone has anyexperience with any of this? i also had a muscle biopsy while in the hospital and they do not want to discuss the heart problems until they get the results back from the biopsy, they think i also have some kind of a muscle disease that caused the cpk levels to go so high. i also have a lot of episodes of nausea, lightheaded, shortness of breath like when i breath in there is something pushing it out before i can breath in all the way. headaches, a cough, high blood pressure, sometimes vomitting. a little nervous and not sure what to expect. thanks in advance for any replys.
