Bypass surgery & paralyzed diaphragm

I had bypass surgery in January 2011. I had 5 bypasses done. After surgery, I was diagnosed with a left paralyzed diaphragm. I cannot find much good information on this problem and have not been able to talk to anyone else that has experienced this. I know there is a surgical option to repair the diaphragm, but I would like to talk to someone that has undergone this procedure and others that have a paralyzed diaphragm to understand what my other options might be and how others are living with this condition. I would really appreciate any input anyone might have. I am a 54 yo male. Thank you for your time.
