I have fibromyalgia and usually post in the fms forum. I would like to know if this is considered hypertension or maybe I need to exercise. My blood pressure when resting is around 117/78 to 120/80. It may be a little lower upon waking. Once I get up and start moving around, for instance just walking down the hallway a few times will send it up to 130/90. I noticed a few minutes ago walking around downstairs and then up the stairs it went to 158/94. Once I sit down it goes back down. I know our blood pressure rises with activity just didn't know if this is too high. I am not on any meds, probably about
15-20 lbs overweight. I'm 38 and other than my fibro and ruptured disks I'm healthy. Nonsmoker and I do not drink. I know about
3 or 4 years ago my cholesterol was 165. I think my triglycerides were on the high side of normal. Since I have the fibro, it's been hard to exercise and not have a flare. Just would like to know what others think.
Thanks for your 2 cents..lol.
