Last year while at work I experienced a small stoke.
After a workup at the hospital they found a PFO next to an asa in my heart.
I had a clusure using an Amplatzer device.
I was born with a pectus in my chest and I swear I can feel the device all the time.
The real problem is when I bend over my heart goes into afib. Never had the problem before the surgery!!
The doctors have put me on an anti arythmic drugs that are working to a small degree.
My longest bouts have been over 20 hours. Average now with the new drugs are 5 to 10 minutes several times a day.
I asked about a nuss procedure and both my surgeon and my cardiac dr. said no way that was causing my problem.
I know it is.
What can I do?
Anyone have any advice for me I am getting very desperate.
