Ugghh, it has been a really bad year for me. My Crohn's was not controlled well, avascular necrosis in 2 joints ( so far) and a surgery to prevent collapse of the knee joint ( due to the AVN) and now a diagnosis of high ldl- 160. My cardiologist prescribed Lipitor 20mg. I am kinda freaked because I tend to react badly to most medications. Can you let me know what to expect when I start taking it?

Hey there my friend, good to see you here. Lipitor is generally well-tolerated. Minor side effects include constipation, diarrhea, fatigue, gas, heartburn, and headache.

I am not on this medication but hopefully one of the members who is will come along and share with you.

Kitt! Happy holidays to you too! I seem to be making my rounds in all the different Healing Well forums as I am being diagnosed with something new nearly every month, ha ha!
