Stent

My brother had a stent put in after a heart attack about a month ago.. He is still having occasional pain. Is this normal or should we be worried? Went to Dr this am, took EKG said yes it showed he did have a heart attack last month, also he has heart disease. Is this normal that he still has some pain?

what kind of pain is he having?I have 12 stents and never had any pain after they were put in.Have him check with his doctor if he continues to have pain

If you brother saw his cardiologist today they should have discussed his heart disease and what is normal for your brother.  I would encourage your brother to be his own best advocate and get the info he needs to manage his heart disease from the expert - the Dr.

Each person is different so we all experience unique sx special to just us.  I wish him the very best.

I'm only a patient, but I agree he should ask the cardiologist! Since he just saw him, maybe he could just phone with the question. He could be still suffering from the damage caused by the heart attack, but only his cardiologist can tell him. I had a heart attack and was given a stent but didn't feel better and needed a stent for a second artery. Then I felt much better.
