8 second heart pauses from new member :)

Hi everyone

I'm new to all this but I'm hoping that someone could help.

I'm 29 and two and a half yrs ago I collapsed at work woke with left sided weakness facial drop and I wasn't able to talk. Admitted to a stroke unit had a number of tests which were mostly normal. I stayed in hospital for 2 weeks where they went me home saying they didn't know.

I've continued to collapse on a regular basis and after a frustrating year I changed hospitals and got a second opinion. The neurologist I saw sent me straight to cardiology as I have never had any heart tests done.

After every test under the sun I got diagnosed with IST but my cardiologist was convinced something else had to be wrong. I had an implanted loop recorder put in 8 months ago.

I had 2 collapses since, rushed to hospital as I was deemed to be in peri-arrest. Once there I was stabilised and sent home!!!!

Three week my consultant called to say that in the last 2 weeks I had two 8 second pauses recordered. He said he would get me into clinic to discuss a pacemaker but I still haven't heard anything and I'm really worried

Anyone ever have this happen to them?!??
