So the PFO is confirmed and I have an inter atrial aneurysm too. The doctor says that the exercise I did last year is probably to blame for the sudden onset of symptoms...how ironic.
Told him we are looking to have a family and he said that in that case he would have to close it. He thinks he can get me in during the next month. It will be done in Oxford which I hear is a super dooper heart department.
Anybody here who has had a pfo closed who can tell me what to expect? The bubble study hurt when he put the catheter wire in. Hoping it won't hurt for the main event. Such a wimp...
