Hello, this is my first time on this forum.
I recently had a 24hr holter done and have a few questions about
the results. To give a bit of a background, I'm 25yrs old previously very fit and healthy. The past year I have been experiencing upper abdo pain mostly on the right with some dull chest pain. Abdo U/S and blood were all clear with only total bilirubin being slightly elevated. My GI thought a parasite due to my recent travels in S.America. After a couple courses of antibiotics and an endoscope the abdo pain has mostly cleared up. However I still have dull chest pain that is more to the left and does not seem to radiate. I also get bouts of palpitations and have an increased HR.
The holter results summary is as follows
Sinus rhythm appeared to persist throughout; sinus arrhythmia notes at times. Average HR 93, max 173 and min 49/min. St level ranged from -1.80mm to +1.68mm. (looking at the times notes I was sitting jn class when I hit 173bpm which I cerntinaly felt)
Also noted was 75 SV tachycardias and no paraxysmal SV tachycardia.
What I'm wondering is this range jn ST elevation/depression normal? And 75 SV tachys? The GP said all was fine as he was concerned with PSVT but is testing my bloods for thyroid ad such as an average HR of 93 is way to high. When I return for the blood results I will ask about
ST ranges but was after some info from here so I can be prepared.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Jackie
