Who to believe

Hi all, new here. I know there is no substitute for a doctor but I'd like to hear your consensus on my situation.

I'm 51 and had single bypass when I was 48. I recovered well and was back to work in one month to the day.

I was having some irregular heartbeat so I went to see my cardiologist. He suggested a routine stress test; the whole treadmill/injection/beta camera test as well as a echocardiogram. The results came back and my cardiologist said I did great and everything looks good. This is where it gets sticky...

Two weeks after that I went to see my pulmonologist. He had a copy of the results of my stress test and it showed "Abnormal; ischemia". Needless to say, I was taken aback. I told him that the cardiologist said I had a clean bill of health. He decided to call him right then and there. (The know each other and service the same hospital; that's how they both came to be my doctors). My cardiologist told him he look at everything and things the "ischemia" was just artifacts from movement, etc.

Is this normal, for a cardiologist to "overrule" the radiology firm that reads pictures? Who should I trust in reading the results; the firm that reads results or the cardiologist? Should I be concerned? I'd like to hear of any similar situations and whether I should get a second opinion.

If I had to choose and I trusted and knew the cardiologist well I would go with his decision, however if you feel you still not sure who is right - make an appointment to see a different cardiologist.
