Hi Teri, hope you are feeling better too. I still have my cough but at least it is breaking up and I'm not so tired as I was last week. I went in this afternoon and worked 3 hours so my boss could go to an appointment and do some errands for the center. I asked her if I could have tomorrow afternoon off since this is my last week at part time and I've been coming in on all my days off. She was supposed to go to a meeting but said she would let me have off instead. I'm excited because my daughter wants to go up to my aunts cottage for the afternoon. It's about
an hour from us over near Waupaca on Spencer Lake. She is bringing her dog so he can swim since you can't bring dogs hardly anywhere around here to swim or do anything else for that matter. I think the world should be more dog friendly. It sure was when I was a kid. They should just give the ones that don't clean up after their pups huge fines. The dogs look really cute in their scarves I bought them. I haven't been to my night job since last Sunday. I was supposed to work Tuesday night but called in sick and then I was on vacation. I love sleeping at home all night long. It really helps that the acid reflux is not bothering me at night anymore. There is nothing better than a good nights sleep to make you feel good. I am not looking forward to the 5 night stretch I have coming up but the money will be great. I'll need it for our trip out to see the granddaughter on the 8th.
Hey Libby, I sure hope they figure something out to help you with your stomach pain. I know the feeling. It seems like they have found the right combo of meds to help me out for the time being. Keep after the doc to find the right combination. Something else different I am trying is no tap water because of the chlorine in it. I drink only spring water or tap water that has set uncovered overnight so the chlorine gases can escape from it. I heard about
that on the GERD forum here. Take care. Barb

Barb, I'm okay...just canceled a cardio appt. and am seeing my PCP instead. They've been taking me off all my med.'s lately and my Zocor is the latest to go. It'll be a month for the Zocor, so I want to see my PCP about
all this and see what he thinks and maybe he can get some answers from them!-and then to a new pulmonologist on the 5th. The increase in the Advair to 500/50 has helped! :)
I'm so glad that your med.'s are helping your GERD!! Mine do pretty good as well, I take Aciphex and Ranitidine in the AM and that's it. If I eat too much and try to go to bed to early-it's lets me know though. :) I have a hiatal hernia as well...Have fun in Waupaca-some beautiful country!!
Hugs, Teri :)
