WOW - I am so sorry everyone has all these problems. I am exactly like RHYTHMRN (original poster of this thread). I had my first ablation three weeks ago and my heart is much worse. Walking around my house my heart is 160's. I am 51, thin and very active until recently due to my heart worsening. Im having trouble keeping weight on due to my heart pounding so much all the time now. I am 5'11" and 139 pounds. I have a farm and horses to train but cant because my heart goes over 200 too easily. I have pretty low blood pressure low 90's over low 50's so beta blockers are not an option. My ablation was miserable! 4 hours on the table - lightly sedated and felt the burning from the procedure and also from the meds to get my heart to overreact. TERRIBLE pain and thought I was having a heart attack!! At rest my heart is now in the 80-90 range.. I do have PVC and PAC..
Im wondering why people - don't have pacemakers put in instead of doing all of these ablations?? Im not sure I can handle another round of ablations!
