Sometimes I can't feel my pulse in my neck(I have a strong pulse in my neck) and it feels as though my heart is pausing. I've had several ECGs, a 48hour monitor, an event monitor and an echocardiogram. I have mild mitral valve prolapse and episodes of tachycardia but no significant signs of sinus pause. I have hashimotos and PVCs and PACs. I feel like I'm losing my mind. My cardiologist says it's anxiety, but I didn't have an absence of my pulse when I wore the monitors. I don't know what to do. Is there any other reason my pulse would be absent in my neck? I have other symptoms: lightheadedness, pain in my shoulders that radiates down my arms, fatigue, tingling in my extremities, occasional dizziness, and when it feels like my heart pauses it feels like the wind has been knocked out of me. Some one please help because no one else is. Thank you!
