Hi All
First post
I have spent the last two days trying to decode an echo-cardiogram from 2009 when I was medevac'd to Germany short version is I was told I have left ventricle hypertrophy and leaky valves. Leave me short of breathe and passing out about
3-4 times a week. Needless to say I got medically retired in 2010.
anywho....Can anyone explain what the terms below mean and what the acronyms stand for?
or how they are calculated. My current cardiologist falls short when it comes to explaining things and leaves me more confused than when I started and back in 2009 I was not in good enough shape to take ANY of it in.
pericardial effusion

EDV(Tiech) what is Tiech
SV(MOD-sp4) what is MOD-sp4
