My 44 yr old son had a heart and lung scan and a 4.5 aneurysm in the ascending aorta was found... He had 2 DUIs in a 2 yr period and was sentenced to 3 yrs in prison ... First offense !! Anyway any suggestions what a Mom can do to get him medical attention in jail ... They just paroled a child molester because he needed too much dental work ... Our judicial system is a mess ... His Dr has written a letter to explain the urgency of him getting to a surgeon ...please help

Wow, this is a tough one, but your son is entitled to medical attention appropriate for his condition. I believe contacting social services or your son's lawyer may be the best way to approach your concerns.
