I have had heart palpitations 2 times, both have been recent and right after I had a cold for 14 days. (which also turned out to be 2 ear infections and a sinus infection) The Dr took blood and 3 things were just slightly high HCT, HGB and Alkaline Phosphatase.

Well I also was sent for a Heart monitor for 30 days to see if they can catch the palpitations happening. The issue is this stupid monitor has been going off by itself which stresses me out so much. I know I have anxiety issues already, but I feel this monitor is causing me more issues that helping, I feel stressed each time it goes off. Has anyone had a Heartrak ECAT2 is this normal?

Tears, often monitors such as you are wearing are notorious for randomly going off.  If you were having a serious problem you would know it.  I am going to suggest you call the clinic that ordered the monitor and ask them this same question.

I am on chemo and they have new infusion pumps that are so sensitive they beep constantly.  Last time I had chemo it would beep every couple of minutes for the last half hour.  I was about to turn it off and head for home - it was very anxiety provoking as the nurse had to manually reset and fuss with it.

It is the little things that push us over the anxiety hill.

Thank you so much for your comment. I did talk to the monitoring company and they didn't really explain why it goes off but said if it is anything that I would get a call. I know my anxiety level is high I have had a lot of stress. I will pray everything goes well with your chemo.
