Good morning,
I am new here as of today. about
six weeks ago I started having mid chest pain, not severe but uncomfortable, I went to my Dr. who ordered an echo stress test for me. I am a 66 year old female with a family hx of heart issues.
Thursday Jan 9th I had my stress echo, I was told it would be 3-5 days before the results were read. The radiologist called my Dr. the same day to state the results were abnormal and that's all I know.
I go to my Dr. Monday morning, chest pains are nearly daily at this point, not all day. I am going to take a guess at this one and consider CAD as the diagnosis. I live in a rural area where there is no cardiologist and one comes here from downstate on an intermittent basis to see pts, I will have the Dr. office call one in the hospital I used to work at downstate. I am really nervous and scared, not surprised though. Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks!
Edit: I gave your thread a title.
