For those of you who had an Amplatzer Occluder shoved into your heart three years ago or more, I'd like to know how it's holding out with respect to it's affect on your overall well-being. I hope I'm not jinxing myself here but I seem to be doing well with mine. My diet and exercise are still top notch but I haven't had the follow up that I'd like to have (images, etc.) - no insurance, no follow up. I get an occasional (situational) chest cramp now and then but at the expense of being a hypochondriac, I tell myself it's probably nothing.
Thank you to Samar Garas at St. Vincent, Jacksonville, Florida for his great work. So far so good. St. Jude should hire me to sell and service those things, providing supply AND council to patients who have them.
