I'm home now and I'm okay!! My Dr.'s office sent me to the ER for evaluation this morning as my Dr. was out of town today.
I'd put on 20 lbs. of fluid! So they gave me some Lasix. :)
A couple of weeks ago my BNP was below 100 and now it's rising, so that indicates Heart Failure is present. It's nothing serious as of yet and I will definitely let ya'll know - I see my Cardio tomorrow.
The kitchen construction must go on! lol

teri - what did the doc say?

i'm headed out of town 'til monday night, dunno if i'll be checking

in during that time or not.  i'll have my laptop but i'm staying at a

B&B so don't know if they'll have the computer support i'll need!

Teri hope yuo are feeling better now. Please rest ake it easy and yes when yuor kitchen is over and done with it will be wroth all the construction etc...

Everyone in TX has my prayers for this Cat 5 hurricane  My friend in Huoston is going to be evacuating.

Luv ya, Teri, please take care!  P.S. I ended up babysitting until almost midnight tonight so didn't call. My teenage granddaughter needed to talk (this is a first time in quite a long time) so I listened and tried not to be too judgemental, lol. I had a good day .Glad you did too!!

I'm okay - just starting the baby dose of Coreg has made me feel tired - I cannot imagine anything stronger! :)

Just wanted to check in. My entire family (children and grandchildren) are going to my mother's tomorrow morning and celebrating Christmas a little early. We have not celebrated any holiday with my mother I think in probably close to 20 years. She's always been in FL. She doesn't know it but we are bringing her a present and will probably buy some rotisserie (ok, I can't spell that without looking it up, ha) and sides at the local deli there. She leaves for FL the first of October. (she is considering changing the ticket for her friend hwo is driving her out there until later in the month bec. of all those darned hurricanes!!). It will be the first time we have all been together in quite a long time, too. I hope you all have a safe and happy weekend!

Kathy, that is so wonderful!! Have a safe trip and a great weekend! You will have to share a story or two when you get back home. :) Give your Mom a great big hug from me lol and tell her I think she's right to stay put til the hurricane season is under some control!!

Hi all, I'm busy getting ready for my son and granddaughter to come for a visit. They leave Thursday. I'm a little worried that he is driving straight through by himself. He is going to file for divorce up here. He doesn't want to wait another year until you can file out there. He has had it with his wife and her games. He found out she did more than kiss that guy. I already knew that though. She called me up and told me some lies about my son and that really made him mad that she was telling his mom lies. She never wanted to talk to me before. Yesterday was the last straw when she hit her sister and the sister called my son for help. I don't think this is the first time she has hit family members. Her brother and sister seem to be afraid of her. I am worried about the baby. If she ends up with any marks on her my son is turning her in. Please pray for them.

Glad to hear you are doing better Terri. I've been worried about the hurricane affecting you down there. I always worry about Heidi too when one is coming. Well better get to bed for now. Will try to check in again soon. Barb

hey all,

sorry been so quiet...been super busy this past week.  the Eucharist Congress was this past week for my diocese and i had to work that...80 4th graders all day on saturday...yikes.  one of them got me sick...so a cold and allergies...yuck.  managed to sprain my ankle yesterday too.  lol...what a week.  lol

i'm doing pretty good with my heart...been taking toprol again and my heart rate has been rather normal!  YAY!!!  i'm so happy about that.

i'm gonna go lay down...the cold is knocking me on my butt.

Hi Teri, it looks like it is going to get very ugly with my son and his wife. He is going for full custody of the baby. He is starting out by going to her CO. He got her on Tape confessing all that she did. He went to his CO & Gunny today and they will be going with Josh tomorrow to see her CO. They said it is good he is doing this now. All involved will be paying with a knock down in rank and pay. Even the one she went all the way with that is in Iraq right now. He'll really have a shock after thinking he got away with it. I hope my son still gets to bring the baby. She is so much better off with him to take care of her. I bought her a new outfit and some toys to play with here. I will be heartbroken if she doesn't get to come. I'll still be glad to see my son though. Well off to do some more things to get ready for the visit. Barb

I wanted you all to know that our Kathy has just received some very bad news re a very close friend of hers. He just passed away tonight.

Kathy, I am so very sorry and my condolences to you, his family, friends and loved ones.
