Hello I am 38 years old African American Female who is about
5'5 and 230 pounds, I was diagnosed with High Blood Pressure about
two years ago, during an emergency room visit and subsequent hospital stay. I had a MRI of my chest and stress done, and though I had elevated tropinin levels there was no sign of damage on my MRI or the stress test. A few days ago I had chest pains, and ended up back in the hospital, my tropnin levels were high again, however after a few days in the hospital and a CT scan, EKG and a different stress test I was sent home because these test were all normal. My blood pressure medicine was changed, and they have added an additional medicine, along with aspirn. however I still have chest discomfort, and not feeling myself. I am concerned but don't know what to do, since all the diagnostic testing with the exception of the blood work is normal. I don't smoke or drink, I do have a family history of heart disease, but do to my age the Cardiologist doesn't want to do an angiogram. What could be going on with me?
