I went to the ER last week with chest/back pain, left arm and jaw pain, high pulse and BP.They did an EKG, blood tests and when everything came back OK, sent me home saying my heart looked fine and I didnt have typical heart attack symptoms. The next day my cardiologist called after getting the hospital report and wanted me to do a stress echo. The results came back as.."possible apical inferior and anterior hypokinisis only at the marked BP". My dr basically said my heart wasnt working properly at the highest BP during the test. She ordered a CTA and put me on blood pressure meds and statins. I am very scared of what could be wrong with my heart! I am the one who kept saying there was something wrong, but I really thought my synthroid was making my heart act up (my TSH has been super low the last few months and whenever I seem to get a little too much synthroid I feel the same way..raised pulse and BP, that goes away when it evens out a bit) My biggest problem is I do not know how serious this is, if I could have a heart attack now..etc. I know I will have a better idea after the CTA, but any insight now would be helpful.
