Hello. Long post but I'm hoping for advice. I'm 20 years old and since I was 3 I've passed out/had seizures. The doctors don't know what causes them. I've had numerous ECGs, a tilt table test, a brain MRI and a heart scan. I can have a seizure if I'm extremely shocked, scared or ill with a fever. But usually they occur randomly. The last seizure I had was two months ago, I woke around 4am with leg cramp and ended up having a seizure. Peculiar I know.
A recent 4 day ECG picked up that I have a second degree type 1 AV block and sinus tachycardia. However a few days ago I read about the condition Long QT syndrome. Is it possible I could have this? My ECGs have always been pretty normal and I was even in hospital for two days under observation on an ECG and it wasn't mentioned and I was discharged. So, would an ECG definitely pick this up? Can I rest assured I haven't got it? Any advice would be great. Thanks.
