I read that palpitations normally get worse when you lay on your left side.
but when I lay on my right side, and breathe in, I get a fast and hard *skip skip* it feels like it goes into my throat, and comes right from my heart. like I can just tell. I DO get palpitations, they use to be pretty regularly, but since have calmed down since I started a few different anxiety medications to try and find the right one, for anxiety I didn't know I even had.
The *skip skip* have always happened, atleast for 6 years while laying on my right side, and up until last night ive never really thought of them as "palpitations" until I breathed in twice on purpose to see if it happened when I did that, and the end result was two hard thumps in a row, then a pause and the feeling like my heart started beating normally after that.
I can breathe lightly and it happens while laying on my right side, it doesn't happen while i'm laying on my back, or left side.
I guess i'm just trying to maybe get a bit of reassurance or someone else who has been through this,
I've had an echocardiogram and 24 hour holter monitor,
I DO have Mitral Valve Prolapse with Trace Amounts of Regurgitation.
and my dr didn't seem concerned about my holter results what so ever.
I've set myself into a complete panic now, unfortunately...
Thanks for reading this far.
