A few years back I was diagnosed with angina - the kind that you only get at rest/night time. I did herbs, changed/improved my diet, did a cardio cleanse, and came out the other side with PERFECT #s and feeling great. I have not had a problem during all this time - over 5 years.
A couple of weeks ago my upper back stated bothering me, my neck got sore, it felt like my heart was pounding, and I started getting muscle cramps like crazy - almost always when I laid down.
I immediately improved my nutritional profile, increased my zinc, potassium, magnesium, calcium and sodium. For a couple of days I felt great - no more muscle cramps, no upper back pain, no neck soreness or tingling. I slept through the entire night for three nights. But on night four - the back pain came back - not as severe, but it is there again. The neck pain is also back - not as 'sore' but more tingling. The leg and muscle cramps have not come back - thank God!
Here's the rub - all my numbers are still EXCELLENT -
BP 110 - 120 over 70 - 80
Cholesterol perfect (I can't find the paperwork for the numbers - but it was at the very bottom end of normal.
My oxygen level ranges from 98 - 99
My pulse ranges from 79 - 95
My urine profile was so good they made me take over TWICE!
My water intake is 64 - 100 ounces / day (More on days when I am HOT!
I am over weight - 5'6" 225 lbs at 61 years - I have been reducing my weight slowly over 6 months. I have gone from 258 - to 225.
I quit smoking 2 years ago (June 21 2013).
I do not drink alcohol nor do I do any drugs. No Prescriptions, no recreational drugs.
I do not have any signs of fluid retention - no swelling of the ankles, no varicose veins, no bloodshot eyes, no dizziness - unless I get up too fast.
All that and still I have this soreness in my upper back, sore neck, and sore left elbow, with the heavy heart rate (almost always when I am laying down).
The last time this happened the doctor prescribed nitro pills - but I didn't take them because my blood pressure was not high, and Nitro drops your BP like crazy - not a good thing!
Also they wanted to pump me full of Iodine to see if I had blood clots in my lungs. I KNOW I don't have blood clots in my lungs because I have done several lung programs and they are GREAT!
I sure don't want Iodine in my blood - every doctor I've ever had has commented on how GOOD my blood is, and every technician and nurse has been wowed by my excellent viscosity, color and flow.
I have worked long and hard at getting my body to a drug free state - 24 years ago I was on 27 different prescriptions, weighted 307 pounds, had had cancer - twice, suffered from severe migraines, was crippled by arthritis and was taking 90 units of insulin a day.
That is where the doctors took me - I got healthy on my own, and I sure as hell don't want to let them take me back to the state I used to be in. BUT I really can't seem to make sense of what is going on.
I guess what I really want is a sounding board - someone to help me think through all the possibilities, the pros and the cons, etc.
I hope to hear from y'all. In the meantime, I am going to keep tweaking my nutritional program - more juicing, no meat, more fruits & Vegetables, and reduce my gluten intake down from almost none to NONE!
The same thing for sugar, and processed foods - from almost none to NONE!
Am I missing something?
If you have any ideas or suggestions - PLEASE post a reply.
Thanks in advance!
