Hello everyone. I'm not new to HW, but have never posted in this forum
I'm having some issues with blood pressure. I've always had a bit of high pressure, and at one point was on 3 meds.
I recently had a radical hysterectomy with removal of tumors and cysts, along with scar tissue. During the end of the surgery, and going into recovery, my pressure dropped to 60/20, and they had to shoot me with adrenaline to get it back up.
It continued to be low, and drop dangerously low when I would fall asleep. When I was released, I was told to monitor it closely, stop all meds of course, and see my primary about adjusting meds.
I've been monitoring it every 2 hours or so, and it drops pretty low in the evenings. I feel it drop. I get clammy, have chest pains, difficulty breathing (heaviness) dizziness, and blurry vision when it happens. It runs fairly normal in the mornings, and in the afternoon it even gets a bit high. Especially my diastolic number. Then in the evening/night it drops to 88/59, and that's too low for comfort. Especially since it causes symptoms.
I see a cardiologist next Thursday. Have any of you had these symptoms? If so, what can be the cause of all of this? I'm still recovering from my hysterectomy, so I can't do a stress test yet.
