Left Bundle Branch Block

I went to see my regular Dr last week. I was having some slight chest pains for a few weeks. She did an ekg that came up abnormal so she sent me to a cardiologist. He also did an ekg and diagnosed me with Left bundle branch block.

He is not overly concerned given my age, family history and bloodwork. I'm 42 with no family history of heart disease and my bloodwork is great. He does want to do a echo cardio gram and a medically induced stress test to be sure there isn't anything else going on.

Anyone have any information on LBBB? It seems to be such a strange thing. It doesn't seem like chest pain is even a symptom, but it's what brought me into the office. I don't want to be worried, but it's hard not to be.

my research, angioplasty is used as a form of treatment, and as is blood pressure meds. pace makers can be used as well. cardiac resynchronization. biventricular. this is what I found.
