hello everyone ..hope I have come to the right place sounds like it with all the support.
My story is this ...I have always suffered from some kind of chest problem anxiety and panick ..I was diagnosed with Costochondritis many years ago ...and I had my panic attacks under control ..well the other day my daughter school calls and says they are taking my daughter to ER in ambulance I though I handled it well and met the ambulance she was dehydrated at school while playing sports ..thank God she is healthy ...well that night I felt my heart race I went to the triage and my blood pressure (keep in mind I don't have high blood pressue) 136/95 and heart rate was 141 they hooked me up to ecg but was going to crazy they did blood work troponin came back normal and then gave me Ativan ...slowly everything started coming back to normal ..dr said not cardiac but panic attack also low potassium so went to my GP next day same thing with blood pressure and heart rate first time 141 blood pressure after 10 min back to normal (white coat syndrome)????she repeated the potassium test and agreed this was anxiety and panic but since I am going on vacation next week I insisted on echo and event monitor(now wishing I didn't do the event monitor scared the bubbles out of me) ..ecg - normal with tacardia echo- from what I have been told not to worry although I have to see my dr still ...event monitor is what scares me because it was good since Sat the odd beep here and there ...then today it went on a long beep almost like tea kettle whistling ...well didn't that freak me out so I called the number they told me not to worry it could be the machine or how it is hooked up ...so now here I am waiting for results of echo and event monitor and hoping that I am ok to fly ...so scared ...I hate this feeling.
Sometimes i am me (HT)...

try to focus on your breathing. breathe in deeply, from the gut via ya nostrils, hold, purse your lips and slowly release. calm your thoughts, incense helps. stress will shoot everything up, and this is from anxiety and panic. (cause and effect.)
