Chest discomfort for over a month, normal results

I have been having pain in my left chest. It feels like someone is jabbing me with their finger. It is almost always there. And sometimes more intense. I had blood work, EKG and x-ray done. All came back normal. I had a heart flutter early today while sitting. It lasted about 10 seconds, and took my breath for a second. I do have hypothyroidism, and take 150mcg of levothyroxine daily. When my thyroid is acting up, I do have heart flutters. But never that intense.
What should I do? What tests should I ask for?

Floridamissy, just a thought, perhaps its time to see your endocrinologist for your thyroid. If that checks out ok, then perhaps visit your gp & see if he/she will refer you to a cardiologist. He may or may not consider doing an echo of the heart. You are concerned so perhaps seeing the drs will help get to the bottom of this. Take care.
