Hi again everyone, Thought I'd post here one last time to try and get some ideas, or realise that it's time to give up on trying to find the cause of my symptoms.
I'm 21, no history of medical issues, and Just over a year ago, I went into A&A with sharp pain in my chest, they did an ECG which they said showed 'slight abnormalities' and blood tests (never got told what these showed), diagnosed with pericarditis and sent home with ibuprofen, nothing changed & since then my symptoms have gotten worse and more widespread. At the moment, I get a pressure like feeling in the left of my chest, sometimes a shooting stabbing pain here and there, I get a numb jaw, and a horrendous aching pain in my left arm only, pain is made worse by exercise & caffeine, I also get frequent palpitations. So over the last year, I've had 9 ECG's (one abnormal, the rest normal), 7 blood tests (all normal as far as I'm aware), an echocardiogram (normal), an ECG stress test (normal), a CT coronary angiogram (normal) and an ultrasound of my liver (normal), unfortunately docs have now branded me with the anxiety label which is on all my med documents, so whenever I visit a doctor now the first thing I get asked is "so how is all this making you feel" and they keep prescribing me antidepressants which I don't want to take, I've never had a history of depression or anxiety.
I just can't escape the worry that my heart is causing the problem, despite all the tests. And I'm really not sure what else could cause my symptoms.
Any ideas or advise would be much appreciated
