I would very much like to know if someone has been able to manage/lower their HS CReactive Protein scores. I recently found out that I have a high Lip A score and CReactive Protein which means I have inflammation in the heart valves and the rest of my body. the CReactive Protein score is getting higher. I have arthritis in my hands, back and feet and controlled irritable bowel syndrome. I have seen an endocrinologist at Mayo, and my tests were negative for Hashimoto disease - my sisters have this - and have taken other tests to check out other illnesses.
My Cardiac Risk score came back with age 75 valves. I am only 62. An eye/neurology doctor told me I had veins the age of a 60 year old at age 32.
I am, therefore at risk for cardiac arrest within 10 years. I feel like a time bomb ticking. Anyone know how to control the inflammation?
I eat clean foods only, oily fish 3 x week, chicken, organic green veggies, blue fruits, and seeded, high protein grains in small amounts. I like a glass of red wine. I exercise almost every day for 35 minutes and about 4 hours a week ballroom dancing. In a lot of pain from the inflammation with arthritis and would like to control it.
Medications: Metroprolol Tartrate for mitral valve prolapse and fast heart rate. Dulcolax for IBS constip. Statins - Resuvastatin Calcium 20 mg to reduce cholesterol as low as possible. Aspirin low dose once a day. I take high potency Vitamins, CoQ10, Fish Oil, Turmeric, VitaPulse, Gundry Reds, Lysine. I stopped taking anti inflammatories due to heart damage concerns. The Turmeric does not seem to help.
