Hello! I'm dealing with rapid heartbeat issues. Out of love and concern I have been told (not to do anything!) They mean well but such thinking leaves me feeling worthless!
Why does that statement sound like someone may be worried that his or her role in your overall health might be put into question if you get properly medically treated?
Sorry, but I get to the bottom line about
anything, and I am straightforward about
my communication and that comes out to sound wrong to me.
I have found that we are our own best advocates, and if we are to get the best in our healthcare, we have to proactively participate in our treatments. The best you can do is grab a good blood pressure test machine, which monitors both the blood pressure and the heart when you take it. Never overdo testing though because that will just induce anxieties and cause wrong readings.
Test both arms twice daily and keep a record of each measurements. After a while, take the records to your GP. Now, you sound like you deal with anxieties, maybe he or she can help you with that, but remember this though, the heart is going to beat faster whenever we are on our feet moving around, that is normal.
What wouldn't be normal is for it to be so fast and cause us to get dizzy or shortness of breath, or anything else that is not a normal function of everyday movements. You haven't replied in a while, so I hope all is fairly well with you.
