ETA: I reread your post after I had made my post. I see you already have multiple autoimmune diseases, so what I posted still applies.
I can't answer your questions specifically, but MS seems to be caused by a leaky gut (along with a genetic predisposition). Leaky gut can lead to multiple autoimmune (AI) diseases. If you are not familiar with Dr. Terry Wahls, I suggest you watch her video on mitochondria on youtube.
There is also a lot of information on autoimmune diseases and diet on the paleomom website. I recently had to have 2 heart stents and my aortic valve replaced. Without going into past history, I believe leaky gut was responsible for the plaque buildup that caused these problems. Following an autoimmune diet usually will fix the leaky gut. It may take some trial and error to get it right, and it may be necessary to take some supplements, but you should be able to fix it. Once leaky guy is fixed, you should be able to strengthen your immune system.
I'm not saying this will cure MS, but people with an autoimmune disease usually end up with multiple AI diseases. Fixing leaky gut may help prevent you from getting additional diseases. As long as you have a leaky gut, your immune system has to fight bacteria, viruses, undigested food, and other pathogens that leak into the blood and/or lymphatic systems from your small intestine.
If you are not already aware of ai diet and leaky gut, I will be glad to point you to more resources.
ETA: May I suggest you try to find a good integrative doctor, a DO would be good. If I had all those diseases, especially as they are autoimmune diseases, I would want a doctor that looks at the big picture and doesn't just look at high blood pressure and give you a pill. My conditions are not as serious as yours, but I finally realized that typical doctors approach disease as something to be cut out or something to mask with a pill. A good integrative doctor will try to get to the root problem and fix that. The one I have now is very good at getting labs to confirm what we are doing is working and changing if labs indicate.
