Increase in heart rate

Does anyone ever experience an increase in heart rate (not shortness of breath) just by walking around a little? This happens once in awhile after I've just walked out to the back yard. By the time I get to the house I can feel my heart beating harder. Takes a little time to come back to normal.

I have various problems such as MS, Graves Disease, Gerd, Gastritis etc. Most of the time I don't feel this symptom, but when it comes on, it's scary! I'm not sure where to start to try to get this one diagnosed. I am 69 years old and weight 101 lbs.

If your heart rate is increasing with little activity you could have a heart arrhythmia or afib which is what I have and yes it is VERY scary and you will need to get medication for it. Please see a cardiologist who can examine the rhythm of your heart, You can die of a stroke if you don't get treatment for afib. It's not an easy road to travel and it may take several tries for the Dr. to get the right medication for you but trust me you don't want to let this go.
