Newbie, Ontario Canada with Dilated Cardiomyopathy

Just a short introduction about myself and my condition. I am a 49 year female diagnosed with D/C about 3 years from the family doctor, I didn't have any of the systems that comes with this, the dr caught it listening to my chest in a yearly checkup, so who knows how long I had it. I feel pretty normal, what ever that maybe, sometimes my breathing is short, I take all the well know pills,like everyone else. This year I retired from work, I thought lets not push this conditon, even tho I felt pretty good. Next spring 2007, I will be going to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, Ontario Canada, not sure what the plan is, maybe some stem cell,keep you posted on that.
