For the past 10 years since I was 14years old I have experienced .."odd" but "normal" symptoms.
-It started with palpatations that were very strong but only lasted a couple of minutes. Later that has mostly gone.
-Then around the same time, I began having very frequent (daily) dizzy spells which at times resulted in my vision tunneling (everything slowly fading to black). Sometimes it was topped of with me falling to my knees then completely passing out. some times I would come to with my tongue feeling numb.
- I still have the dizzy spells and the loss of vision but have not passed out completely in a couple of years.
- I see "stars" (I don't know what they are called technically) - silver looking spots of light that move very quickly.
With all of these symptoms I went to a clinic and was without any tests was told, "That's normal for a girl your age."
....Well... after many years of going back to the same place to speak to different ...doctor assistants that told me the same thing...I gave up.
Just recently however I am under a new insurance and have gone to a new hospital.
out of curiousity the doctor did an EKG. The results were a short PR interval of .1s.
For a month they put me on an event monitor and found that I have Sinal Tachycardia around three or more times a day.
(on a side note, not sure if it's related I also have these: I get hot flashes almost daily where I feel like I'm burning up and turn all red regardless of weather and clothing. I get a pain in my left shoulder that is very sharp to the point that I get nausea-maybe from eating too much and pinching a nerve?-)
This pretty much sums it up for me. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. :D

amabebe: You're not going crazy! My symptoms were identical to yours before they placed me on antiarrythmia meds. I blacked out one time only to hear some lady say "step back, I know CPR!" I could hear everything she said and just kept trying to say "Are you crazy! I'm breathing you fool!" Thank goodness I was able to move before she had a chance to do more harm than good. Apparently she didn't pay attn to the part of CPR that says to make sure the pt isn't breathing. It took almost 2 yrs for the MDs to find the right med to settle everything down (for the moment). I was later diagnosed w/ Cardiac Syndrome X where the small arteries of the heart spasm (nothing can be done for this). I am also 5"4" and at the time weighed 105 lbs. I now weigh 127 (I am now 52). I also have a bad arrythmia in the bundle of Hiss which causes most of the problems (maybe you have the same). Good luck!
