NUCLEAR STRESS TEST "CARDILITE"

I had a Nuclear Stress Test with IV CardioLite Injection. I was fine til they doctor injected me the 2nd time with another does of CardioLite then I started feeling so horrible.

After I got home from the test, within a few hours I felt so ill, with bloated stomach, tinglng in my head, shortness of breath along with extreme weakness thru out my body. Today, I feel some what better, but not totally 100% better

I also understand that this CardioLite takes up to 48 hours to clear the system ( or so the doctor said). But also read that some prople have the stuff in their system 4 days after the test.

Anyone ever had this test? Please share your experiences rather Good or Bad.

Hi Sabrina! I have had this test done about 4 different times over the years. I've never had any problems with it. The last time it was done I had palpitations for a few hours after I got home. However those can happen at any time to me, Soit is not fair to attribute those to my test. Nor do I actually think the test had anything to do with the palps I had that night. It was just my lucky night for the palps. I hope that you feel better soon
