Can a doctor hear minor aortic regurgitation through a stethoscope?

Can a doctor hear minor aortic insufficiency through a stethoscope? My doc usually listens to my heart every 3 months or so but a few days ago was the first time he was concerned. An echo revealed some degree of regurgitation and I'm anxios to review the results with my doctor to find out how severe it is. I'm just curious if it would even be possible for him to hear a minor aortic regurg or if it is usually more severe by the time it is audible?

I know it won't tell me what my condition is but I can't help to think about it while I wait.

Yes, a good doctor can hear many different murmurs with the aid of a stethoscope alone. Sometimes they'll hear it, other times not (if it's a minor murmur). I have an aortic regurgitation that is audible on some occasions and not on others. Good to get it checked with an echo. TONS of people have MVP and other murmurs that are simply incidental findings and I'd wager that most people with murmurs don't even know that they have them! Usually MVP is really benign.
