Hi countrybluet
I suffer from atrial fib, but the feeling I get is a rather tackey heart beat, by tacky, I mean that when I try to take my pulse, it's so faint, and hard to find, and I can feel it go into the irregular beating. I dont get any probs with my arms, nor with weakness, but there were a few times when I was having an A-fib episode that I had to frequently urinate, like as if I had drank a whole lot of liquid, when I hadnt. the fluttering feeling your talking about sort of feels like butterflies in the chest. What is this cardiologist going to do to confirm this? If it is A-fib, you cant ignore it, because if you have a prolonged episode of it, like I did, one time it was like that for a week, it caused a blood clot in my lung. So phone the doc and find out when and what he is planning to do to find out for sure. This condition can be treated with rythm meds, like bisoprolol and Propafenone *just for examples
Good luck, and keep us updated
