I am 25yrs old and I have been having severe reflux symptoms burning in throat, burping, coughing after eating it's so bad that I appear to be getting an ulcer in my throat one side is extremely red and the other side has what looks like an ulcer due to irritation its kinda white in color. I think I have acid reflux and bile reflux at the same time. I had severe vomiting and bile reflux for about
1 yr while pg then I had gallbladder surgery to remove my diseased gallbladder in May 2006 at that time they also did an ERCP to clear out stones I know they have to go down the esophagus with the scope so I know they examine it and if it was something crazy in there then they would have said. Nevertheless, I am totally paranoid that I am eat up with cancer of the esophagus at the ripe old age of 25. With that being said I do have an appointment on Wed. 1/23 with the GI doc to get it looked at. I am taking Zantac until then. Anyone else have this with reflux? My mom says I am being ridiculous to definetely get it checked out but that I do not have some raging cancer of the esophagus and yes I agree I am being a bit rediculous but your mind plays crazy tricks on you when you are scared.
