Hi Janice,
I am doing good thanks to the support of one wonderful husband. My sister has been at the U of MN since 8/13 and she is feeling pretty well but her lung capacity is extrememly poor. She has no reserve.
She is in isolation right now as her Neutrophils have bottomed out. A palliative Physician has joined her team now. Hopefully they will come up with a better way to get her a good nights sleep.
Her hair had fallen out in tufts so on Friday we shaved her head. She actually was pleased with the outcoume and no more hair all over her pillow.
She is still fighting a tough battle but she is hoping for surgery. I am afraid she will never have any surgery but I support her spunk. She is not ready to give up............bless her soul. I love her so much.
Thanks for caring,
Kitt
Janice,
Thank you for the encouraging word, you bring tears to my eyes. My oldest sister died on Thanksgiving Day last year so I feel like I am so lucky to have this time with this sister. There were only 3 of us.
Love,Kitt
Kitt,
my heart goes out to you and
your dear sister. So sad.
I will remember her in my prayers.
Some of our complaints are
nothing, compared to what she is
going through. May God Bless her
and keep her comfortable.
Take care,
Mary Love
