Are you having these feelings?

I have been having these terrible chest pain, i don't know if there are burning or pressure like. i just know i have disconfort there. it even goes to the right hand. It goes and come for about 2 to 3 weeks now. The worse part the nausea. Mostly in the morning.I have general malaise, a feeling of illness. I lost appetite, i can't eat without feeling like throwing up. i even sometimes have a headache. I am still going by my daily activities work or other but it makes me feel so sick.I also feel like i have the cold , my throat is king weird. i feel so sick, so tired. i hate the nausea

I had EKG done twice before when i had these episodes but they found nothing, because i thought i was having an heart attack.

i had an upper endoscopy about 2 yrs ago again nothing i was just given some treatments that worked for a while.
and also ultrasound but everything is ok.

now i am back to nexium again.

I am worried this is more than acid reflex or heartburn or gerd.i don't feel like food coming up in my mouth, except that i spit a lot in the morning.

Has anybody ever felt this way what do you do. are these really happening with your acid reflex or heartburn or gerd.

Please tell me, i am so scare and tired of this. the doctors don't really get it!!! or take me seriously.
i am only 29 and now i feel like i won't make it to 35.

Yes I have had many of the same symptoms...and they seem to get worse when I am stressed out....like recently. I had all the tests done to ensure that I was not having a heart attack. Gerd and all this digestive stuff is really quite sad. I don't feel comfortable these days and I need to lessen the stress and I also need to lose just a few pounds around my waist. I had the cold like symptoms. Unfortunately we refluxers tend to suffer with post nasal drip which means we get congested, especially on our chests. I was taking Mucinex but now I am on a herbal remedy. You really need to control the acid as it can get into your lungs at night when you are lying down. This has happened to me (and others) and I ended up with chest infections.

The painful chest was my worst symptom. The only way to ease it was to take the PPIs on a regular, long term basis. I have since found out that the right sided chest pain is due to a bad gall bladder.

I have the headache (over my right eye) and nausea but these are due to my bad gall bladder aswell. You may want to consider getting that checked out.

Hi, Reading your post sounds a little like my problems.....Mine turned out to be pancreatitis due to a blocked bile duct and have since had it repaired..I do still have chest pain that I really never had since I started with nexium.  have you ever had your pancreas tested???I was sick as a dog and put into the hospital....Think I was having a heart attack.  I use to take protonix just for regular reflux never had this type of check pain....thinking maybe side effect from nexium..Good luck hope I helped you a little.
